Below is a location plan showing the extents of a temporary road closure which has been put in place to allow Story Contracting to carry out utility works.
These works are due to commence 17th June 2019 and have an approximate duration of 3 weeks.
Location:
- Durranhill Road, Carlisle, from its junction with Montgomery Way, extending in a south westerly direction for approximately 50m; and
- Park Road, Carlisle, from its junction with Montgomery Way, extending in a north easterly direction for approximately 50m.
Alternative Route:
A suitable alternative route for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists is available via Geltsdale Avenue and Wingate.
A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted section of Park Road, Scotby Road, A69, Rosehill Roundabout, Rotary Way and Montgomery Way OR the unrestricted section of Durranhill Road, Eastern Way, Warwick Road and Montgomery Way.
