Multi-Use Games Area, Wetheral

The Council needs the views of Wetheral residents as to what sports or games they would like to see on the Multi-Use Games Area, soon to be installed at the playing field (subject to planning approval). The size of the MUGA is yet to be determined, but is not envisaged to allow league-standard sports .It will be provided to allow free access to an all-weather surface for sports and recreation, predominantly for children and young adults from the village. What sports or activities would you like to play?Suggestions:5-a-side football, netball, hockey, basketball, tennis. The MUGA could include activities on the sides externally, for example a climbing wall.
