Road Closures - Scotby/Cumwhinton (update)

 Two temporary road closures are scheduled for Cumwhinton in April and May, to allow Genesis Homes to carry out utility works. Unfortunately, the diversions suggested by Highways are very lengthy in relation to the small sections of road closed. 

Date/Duration/Location/Alternative Route:

1. C1040 Broomfallen Road, Cumwhinton from its junction with the B6263, extending in a north westerly direction for approximately 45m;

A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted section of Broomfallen Road to Scotby, C1038 to Wetheral and B6263 to Cumwhinton.

Duration: from 22^nd April 2019 for approximately 2 weeks.

1. B6263, Cumwhinton, from its junction with Broomfallen Road, extending in a south westerly direction for approx.40m;

A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via Broomfallen Road, C1040 Garlands Bridge A6 London Road and unrestricted section of the B6263 to Cumwhinton

Duration: from 20th May for approximately 2 weeks.
