The Environment Agency has sent a message warning of a period of heavy rainfall from midday Thursday into Friday morning. There is the potential for some Flood Alerts being issued for parts of Cumbria during this period. This means that flooding is possible to low lying land and roads.
There may also be a possibility of some Flood Warnings being issued, however the EA will monitor the forecasts closely for likely impacts and will issue warnings accordingly.
